Varun Dhawan's Diwali Post Featuring Daughter Lara Vanishes From Instagram

In a now-deleted Instagram post, actor Varun Dhawan shared a glimpse into his Diwali celebrations with his daughter, Lara. The picture, which quickly circulated among fan clubs, showed the actor holding his daughter in front of a beautifully decorated Laxmi Puja arrangement. The space was adorned with flowers, candles, and small idols of Laxmi and Ganesh, creating a warm and spiritual ambiance.

Dhawan was dressed casually in a white t-shirt, while Lara was dressed in a traditional outfit. The photo was taken from behind, obscuring Lara's face. The actor's caption read, "आपको दिवाली की ढेर सारी शुभकामनाएं (Wishing you abundant blessings this Diwali)".

Shortly after posting, Dhawan removed the image, leaving fans curious. The reason for deleting the post remains unknown, though some speculate it may be to protect his family's privacy. Dhawan and his wife, Natasha Dalal, have generally kept their daughter away from the public eye.

Despite deleting the picture with Lara, Dhawan shared another post showcasing his Diwali look. In the photos, he is seen wearing a cream-colored kurta and extending Diwali wishes to his fans with the caption, "Happy Diwali".

Varun Dhawan married his longtime girlfriend, Natasha Dalal, in January 2021. The couple welcomed their daughter, Lara, in June 2024. Dhawan revealed her name in October 2024 during an episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati.

On fatherhood, Varun told PTI that being a father, especially to a daughter, is a transformative experience. In a chat with Twinkle Khanna and Kajol, he revealed that he fell in love with Natasha in the 5th standard and admires her for her kindness and amazing human qualities.

Varun Dhawan was last seen in Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari, which was released in theaters during Dussehra. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film also stars Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, and Rohit Saraf. He will next be seen in Border 2.
