Shah Rukh Khan's Iconic Films Return to Theaters: Rediscover the Enduring Magic and Timeless Appeal.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is set to celebrate his 60th birthday on November 2nd with a special film festival, as PVR Inox Ltd. has announced a theatrical re-release of seven of his most iconic films. The two-week-long festival will begin on October 31st and will be held across 75 cinemas in over 30 cities in India.

The film festival aims to bring together different generations of movie lovers, offering long-time fans a nostalgic experience and introducing younger audiences to Shah Rukh Khan's cinematic legacy. The curated lineup showcases the actor's versatility and enduring appeal, featuring a range of genres from romance to patriotism to action. The films that will be re-released include 'Chennai Express', 'Devdas', 'Dil Se', 'Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa', 'Main Hoon Na', 'Om Shanti Om', and his recent blockbuster 'Jawan'.

Shah Rukh Khan, who recently received his first National Award for his performance in 'Jawan', expressed his gratitude for the initiative. "Cinema has always been my home, and seeing these films find their way back to the big screen feels like a beautiful reunion," he stated. He also acknowledged the enduring connection between these films and the audience, saying, "These movies are not just my stories—they belong to the audience that have lovingly embraced them over the last 33 years".

Niharika Bijli, Lead Strategist of PVR Inox Ltd, described Shah Rukh Khan as "more than a global icon, he's an emotion". She further added, "We're thrilled to celebrate his extraordinary journey through a line-up of films that capture his magic, versatility, and enduring influence on Indian cinema. He is loved by people across age groups, genders, and geographies. This festival is a tribute to his artistry and to the joy and hope he continues to bring to audiences around the world".

The re-release of these classic films arrives at a time when Shah Rukh Khan continues to dominate both hearts and headlines, following the success of 'Jawan' and 'Pathaan'.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is also working on his upcoming film 'King', directed by Sujoy Ghosh, which is expected to release in mid-2026. The film will also star his daughter Suhana Khan, along with Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan.

As fans prepare to celebrate the "King of Romance" turning 60, the re-release of his classics serves as a fitting reminder of why Shah Rukh Khan remains one of the most beloved and enduring icons of Indian cinema.
