The highly anticipated war drama "120 Bahadur" is gearing up for its musical launch with the release of its anthem, "Dada Kishan Ki Jai," at a grand event in Lucknow. The song marks the reunion of Farhan Akhtar and Sukhwinder Singh, who have previously collaborated on projects like "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag". The event is scheduled to take place today, October 26, 2025.
"Dada Kishan Ki Jai" is composed and produced by Salim-Sulaiman, with lyrics penned by Javed Akhtar. The song is intended to embody the spirit and war cry of "120 Bahadur," evoking a sense of pride and patriotism while honoring the sacrifices made by Indian soldiers.
"120 Bahadur" tells the true story of 120 soldiers from the 13 Kumaon Regiment who demonstrated extraordinary courage during the Battle of Rezang La in 1962. The film aims to capture the soldiers' indomitable spirit with the powerful message, "Hum Peechhe Nahin Hatenge". Farhan Akhtar, who plays Major Shaitan Singh Bhati in the film, has a long-standing relationship with Sukhwinder Singh, making their reunion for this project even more special.
The Lucknow launch event will be attended by director Razneesh 'Razy' Ghai, along with producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar from Excel Entertainment, and Amit Chandrra from Trigger Happy Studios. The film is produced under the banners of Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios and is slated for release on November 21, 2025.
