Zaveri also discussed the casting of Harshvardhan Rane in "Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat," mentioning that the story was written seven years ago and went through several near-misses with different actors. He said that Rane understood the character's emotional gravity, making him a natural fit for the role. Zaveri acknowledged that Rane's character might evoke strong reactions but emphasized the intention to portray the purity behind his madness.
