Today marks the third death anniversary of Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, widely known as Sidhu Moosewala. The day was filled with emotional tributes and remembrance events, particularly in his native village of Moosa in the Mansa district of Punjab. A large number of fans gathered at the family's farmhouse, where Moosewala's mortal remains were consigned to flames, to pay their respects and honor his memory.

The atmosphere at the event was heavy with grief, especially for Sidhu Moosewala's parents. His mother, Charan Kaur, was seen visibly distraught, her sorrow palpable as she remembered her son. Reports indicate that she broke down during the memorial service, a testament to the deep wound left by his untimely death on May 29, 2022.

Charan Kaur also shared an emotional message on social media, expressing the irreplaceable void in their lives since his passing. In her heartfelt post, she acknowledged the ongoing struggle for justice and affirmed her commitment to supporting the cause of truth and justice that her son championed through his music.

Since his death, Moosewala's music has continued to resonate deeply with fans around the world. His songs, which often reflected Punjabi culture, rural life, and social issues, have inspired countless youths. The popularity of his music has only grown. Many of his songs have been released posthumously, further cementing his legacy.

The family organized a bhog ceremony in Mansa, attended by fans and loved ones. During the final prayer, Charan Kaur was seen holding her newborn grandson. The child, born nearly 22 months after Sidhu's death through In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), is often referred to as "Junior Moosewala" by fans. The moment was particularly poignant.

The investigation into Sidhu Moosewala's murder is still ongoing. Charges have been framed against 27 accused, including Lawrance Bishnoi, under various sections including murder. The case is currently in the evidence stage, with Moosewala's father, Balkaur Singh, yet to record his statement as a witness. The family has openly expressed their frustration with the pace of the investigation, alleging delays in justice.

Despite the pain and the ongoing quest for justice, Sidhu Moosewala's legacy as a cultural icon and voice of a generation remains undiminished. His fans and family continue to honor his memory, keeping his message alive through his music and their unwavering pursuit of justice.
