The television industry is in mourning following the passing of actor Vibhu K Raghave on June 2, 2025, after a courageous three-year battle with stage 4 colon cancer. The news has deeply saddened many, including actor Karan Veer Mehra, who shared an emotional message bidding farewell to his friend and colleague.

Vibhu Raghave, known for his roles in popular TV shows like "Nisha Aur Uske Cousins," "Suvreen Guggal - Topper of the Year," and "Savdhaan India," was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer in early 2022. Despite the challenges, he faced his illness with remarkable strength and positivity, choosing to share his journey with the public and inspire others facing similar battles.

Karan Veer Mehra, winner of Bigg Boss 18, was among the first to express his grief, posting "Too Soon. Rest in peace," accompanied by a heartbreak emoji on his Instagram story. His message reflects the shock and sorrow felt by many in the industry who knew and admired Vibhu.

Vibhu's battle with cancer included treatments like chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and holistic healing. Throughout, he maintained a hopeful outlook, often speaking of miracles and the importance of staying positive. His openness about his condition helped raise awareness and provided a source of strength for others dealing with cancer.

Numerous other celebrities have also shared their condolences and memories of Vibhu. Actress Sanaya Irani remembered him for his "positivity, love, and warmth," while Saumya Tandon penned a heartfelt tribute, praising Vibhu's ability to smile even when "everything was falling apart." She highlighted his fighting spirit and the plans they had made together, expressing deep sorrow that those plans would not come to fruition.

The funeral was held on June 3rd in Mumbai, with many of Vibhu's friends and colleagues from the television industry in attendance to pay their respects. Addite Malik shared details of the funeral, describing Vibhu as "the purest soul, a beacon of strength & positivity" whose "smile could light up any room."

Vibhu Raghave's legacy extends beyond his on-screen performances. He is remembered for his resilience, his unwavering spirit, and his ability to inspire hope in the face of adversity. He leaves behind his mother, Anupama Raghav, his brother, Aishwarya Raghave, and his sister, Garima Singh Tyagi. His father, Ravindra Kumar Singh, had passed away earlier.
