The special screening of "Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan," starring Shanaya Kapoor and Vikrant Massey, held in Mumbai on July 9, 2025, became a star-studded affair, offering Abhay Verma a chance to connect with fans and industry colleagues. The film is scheduled to release on July 11th, 2025.

Verma, who has been gradually carving a niche for himself in Bollywood, attended the screening, adding to the event's glamour. Several other celebrities graced the event, including Sanjay Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor, Tabu, Raveena Tandon and many others.

"Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan" marks Shanaya Kapoor's official Bollywood debut, and the screening served as a celebratory precursor to the film's release. The film also marks the first on-screen pairing of Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor. Shanaya Kapoor appeared at the screening in an off-shoulder white dress. Vikrant Massey wore a classic coat-suit.

Abhay Verma's presence at the screening comes after a year of significant milestones in his career. In 2024, he garnered recognition for his lead role in the horror-comedy "Munjya". He has also reflected on his early days in the film industry, recalling his time as a junior artist in "Super 30". From being a background artist, he is now stepping into the spotlight as the lead in the studio's latest venture, Laikey Laikaa.

Verma will also be seen in Siddharth Anand's "King" alongside Shah Rukh Khan, and he is also working on "JC" with director Sujaat Saudagar.

Earlier in March 2025, Abhay Verma, also known as Laxmi Nagar MLA Abhay Verma, was appointed as the BJP's chief whip in the Delhi Assembly.
