Asit Kumarr Modi, the producer of the long-running and highly popular sitcom "Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah" (TMKOC), has recently addressed the issue of online trolling and criticism that the show sometimes faces. In an interview, Modi acknowledged that creating fresh and engaging content consistently is not an easy task, especially after running for 17 years.

"Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah" has maintained a strong presence in the TRP charts for a long time, reflecting its enduring popularity. The show's success is attributed to its relatable characters, light-hearted humor, and family-friendly content. The show reflects the everyday situations of a common person's life, which makes it relatable for the audience.

Modi has stated that he doesn't give much importance to criticism unless it's constructive. He believes that genuine feedback can help the show improve, and he pays attention to comments that offer valid points. However, he also recognizes that some criticism is simply meant to troll, particularly on social media. He focuses on staying true to his story and the core values of the show.

One of the most talked-about topics related to TMKOC is the return of the character Dayaben. Asit Modi has responded to trolling regarding Dayaben's return. He stated that bringing Dayaben back to the show cannot happen overnight and that the production team is working on a suitable and grand entry for the character. He also mentioned that while they would love to have Disha Vakani reprise the role, they are also auditioning for a replacement, acknowledging the difficulties in her return.

The producer also values the connection with the viewers and incorporates their reviews to improve the show. He takes the audience's reviews into consideration because the audience is very important. Modi mentioned that he thinks about the reviews himself and also meets with people to understand their perspective.

Despite the challenges of maintaining a long-running show, Modi expressed gratitude towards his team, including the writers, directors, and actors, for their continuous efforts to deliver quality content. He also acknowledged the strong bond within the TMKOC family, highlighting a recent team-building event where the cast and crew participated in a cricket match. Modi also mentioned that the team puts a lot of effort and love into making each episode.
