He also acknowledged his recent injury, appearing with his arm in a sling, but assured fans he would be back in theaters soon.

The 71st National Film Awards ceremony was held in New Delhi, where the jury's decision was announced by Ashutosh Gowariker. Shah Rukh Khan shared the Best Actor award with Vikrant Massey. "Jawan," directed by Atlee, was a massive commercial success, grossing over ₹1100 crore at the box office and receiving praise for its story and Shah Rukh's performance.
