The team has also contacted the organizers, requesting the removal of all promotional materials featuring his name and image.

FWICE's concern stemmed from the Pakistani affiliations of the event organizer. The film body urged Kartik Aaryan to withdraw from the event, keeping in mind the current socio-political climate.
