Shenaz Treasury, known for her role in the 2003 film 'Ishq Vishk,' has recently opened up about the body shaming she experienced during the filming of her Bollywood debut. In a recent interview, Treasury revealed the pressures she faced to conform to rigid beauty standards.

Treasury, who played Alisha, the most attractive girl in college in the film, recounted the pressure to look perfect from every angle. She was told that she had to wear green lenses and always look great. According to Treasury, the director would constantly tell her to lose weight. She was told she was "too fat" and that her "belly is sticking out".

Treasury revealed that she was put on a "crazy diet" and was restricted from eating. Meanwhile, Amrita Rao, the other lead actress in the film, was considered "so thin" that the filmmakers had to put pads on her body. Treasury expressed disbelief and sadness, reflecting on the experiences she had to endure.

Treasury, who has since established herself as a travel content creator, spoke about how her appearance was always a focus, starting with 'Ishq Vishk'. She recounted the pressure of playing Alisha and the director's demands for her to be flawless.

Treasury contrasted her experiences with the changes she has observed in the industry. She noted that the industry is now much nicer to actors and more accepting of all shapes and sizes. She favors this change as a good omen for the forthcoming generation of artists entering the industry.

Directed by Ken Ghosh, 'Ishq Vishk' marked Shahid Kapoor's debut and became a sleeper hit. The film tells the story of Rajiv (Shahid Kapoor), who pretends to be in love with Payal (Amrita Rao) to gain popularity in college.
