Raghav Juyal, known for his performance in "The Ba***ds of Bollywood," recently shared his experience of visiting Shah Rukh Khan's iconic residence, Mannat, to meet Aryan Khan, the director of the series. In an interview, Juyal recounted the security measures at Mannat, stating, "The first time I entered Mannat, there was a scanner like the ones at the airport". He humorously recalled asking Aryan about his room, only to realize the mansion doesn't have rooms but entire floors. "Then I realised, this is Shah Rukh Khan's house—you don't have rooms here, you have full floors. Aryan just laughed and said, 'Come, let's go up,' and of course one floor was his," Juyal shared. They spent time together, jamming and later going out for dinner with friends.
Juyal also described his mother's enthusiastic reaction upon hearing about his visit to Mannat. "She got so excited and started asking, 'How is it from inside? How is their bathroom? Did you see the library?'" Juyal said, adding, "I had to tell her, 'Mummy, I didn't go there as a broker, please relax!'". He praised Aryan Khan's creativity and courage, calling him a "genius". He noted that Aryan is reserved on camera but smiles and laughs a lot off camera. "The Ba***ds of Bollywood," directed by Aryan Khan, has been trending on Netflix since its release on September 18, 2025, receiving praise for its bold concept and satirical take on the film industry. The series features appearances from several Bollywood stars, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, and Karan Johar.
Meanwhile, filmmaker Karan Johar has voiced his concerns regarding the rising costs of celebrity entourages and actors' fees. Johar stated he has an ethical problem with extravagant entourages, not a financial one. He revealed that his production house sets budgets and expects actors to cover extra expenses. "I don't understand why some actors travel with eight people in their entourage," Johar said. He criticized actors who make excessive demands despite being highly paid, urging them to "show some grace".
Johar emphasized that the "main remuneration of the actors" needs to be addressed. He noted that actors need to understand the current climate of the movie industry and how difficult it is to produce films. "Every single movie star today has to review what they're asking for," he stated. He added that while actors are welcome to have an entourage, the "mothership cost" (the actor's fee) is the primary concern. Johar suggested that actors should consider backend deals, profit percentages, or performance-based remuneration. He believes many actors are "not really in touch with reality" regarding their market value. Several filmmakers, including Sanjay Gupta, Aamir Khan, and Farah Khan, have previously addressed this issue.
