On January 14, 2026, Johnson and Pillsbury were seen entering Marvin, a restaurant in Beverly Hills. Deuxmoi shared a video of the pair arriving at the restaurant. Prior to this, they were photographed at a candlelit dinner with friends on December 29. TMZ published photos from the December outing, showing Johnson and Pillsbury sitting closely and engaging in conversation. An insider claimed that they "got very close" that evening. Sources also told Entertainment Tonight that they spent New Year's Eve together, "kissing, dancing, and holding on to each other” at a party hosted by Johnson, where her mother was also present and "completely comfortable" around Pillsbury.
This potential relationship comes after Johnson's split from Coldplay frontman Chris Martin in June 2025. The two were together for eight years, although their engagement was rumored to be on-again, off-again.
