Actor Vijay Deverakonda was involved in a car accident on Monday in the Jogulamba Gadwal district of Telangana while traveling from Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh to Hyderabad. According to reports, the incident occurred on NH-44, the Hyderabad-Bengaluru Highway.

The accident took place when another vehicle hit Vijay Deverakonda's car from behind. Visuals of the damaged car, a Lexus LM350h, have surfaced on social media. Fortunately, no one sustained any injuries in the collision.

Following the accident, Vijay Deverakonda switched to another vehicle. His team has filed a complaint with the local police for insurance purposes.

The actor has since assured his fans that he is safe. He confirmed that while his car sustained damage, he was unharmed in the incident.

Initial reports indicate that the mishap occurred around 3 p.m.. Vijay Deverakonda was en route to Hyderabad from Puttaparthi when the accident occurred.

Vijay Deverakonda, aged 36, was traveling in the car when the incident happened. After the accident he got down from his vehicle and boarded a friend's car.

Some reports suggest that Vijay Deverakonda had visited Puttaparthi to seek blessings. According to these reports, the accident occurred while he was returning to Hyderabad.
