Parag Tyagi's Heartfelt Tribute: Enduring Love and Remembrance of Late Wife Shefali Jariwala, An Eternal Wait

The entertainment world is mourning the loss of Shefali Jariwala, the actress and model best known for her "Kaanta Laga" music video, who passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 42. Her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, has recently shared heartfelt tributes, reflecting on their enduring love and her lasting legacy.

Jariwala's sudden demise, reportedly due to a cardiac arrest at her Mumbai residence, has prompted an ongoing police investigation to determine the exact cause of death. Initial reports suggest a possible link between a drop in blood pressure, medication taken on an empty stomach, and a religious fast she was observing. According to police sources, Jariwala had been taking her routine medication, including anti-aging tablets, and had been fasting for a Satyanarayana Puja. Her family rushed her to the hospital after she experienced a significant drop in blood pressure and began shivering. She was declared dead on arrival at Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri.

In the wake of her passing, Parag Tyagi has publicly shared his grief and celebrated the beautiful life they shared. On social media, he posted a touching video montage of their cherished moments, accompanied by a heartfelt caption: "Pari. I will find you every time you are born and I will love you in every lifetime… meri gundi, meri chokri". He described Shefali as "fire wrapped in grace," highlighting her strength, focus, and unwavering determination. He admired her nurturing nature and the unwavering love she offered to everyone close to her.

Tyagi has also launched a YouTube channel in Shefali's memory, where he shares emotional details about her final moments and unfulfilled dreams. He recalled sensing that something was wrong on the day of her death and reflected on the unpredictability of life, saying, "We never know what will happen and when. There were so many things we still wanted to do. In life, we plan so much, what to earn, what to achieve, but in the end, it slipped away from my hands".

Furthermore, Tyagi is committed to continuing Shefali's mission of women empowerment and education through the Shefali Jariwala Rise Foundation. This NGO focuses on educating underprivileged children and empowering women, causes that were close to Shefali's heart. "She wanted to educate underprivileged girls. She wanted to work for women who were mistreated. She had a great passion for empowering women, and I've already begun her initiatives. I will make sure her legacy continues for eternity," he stated.

Shefali Jariwala gained widespread recognition for her appearance in the 2002 remix music video "Kaanta Laga". She also played supporting roles in films like "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi" and appeared in reality shows such as "Nach Baliye" and "Bigg Boss". Her sudden death has left fans and the entertainment industry in shock.

Parag Tyagi's tributes capture the essence of their deep bond and serve as a reminder of Shefali Jariwala's radiant spirit. He concluded one of his heartfelt notes with a simple prayer: "May this space be filled only with love. With memories that bring healing. With stories that keep her spirit alive. Let that be her legacy — a soul so radiant, she will never, ever be forgotten. Love you till eternity".
