Abhinav Kashyap Accuses Salman Khan of Ruining His Life; Questions Khan Playing a Soldier.

The ongoing feud between filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap and Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has escalated once again, with Kashyap making scathing remarks about Khan's personal and professional life. In a recent interview with Bollywood Thikana, Kashyap didn't hold back while responding to Khan's indirect comments on Bigg Boss 19, accusing the actor of ruining his own life and questioning his suitability for an upcoming role.

Kashyap, who directed Khan in the 2010 blockbuster Dabangg, has a history of public grievances against the actor, alleging that Khan took undue credit for the film's success and created a difficult working environment for his brother, Anurag Kashyap, on the set of Tere Naam. This time, Kashyap's criticism was particularly harsh, referring to Khan as a "chapri" (tacky) and questioning why "a criminal like him" would portray a soldier in the film Battle of Galwan.

"He ruined his own life, and he ruined it so much that it can't be set right again," Kashyap stated in the interview. He further claimed that Khan had "begged" him for a film, referring to Dabangg, only to "stab him in the back". Kashyap also asserted that Khan is upset because he couldn't control him with money, implying that Khan tried to buy his silence. "Ye jo in logon ne zeher dala hai na mere andar, ye zeher ki ulti kar raha hu main," Kashyap said, expressing that he is merely releasing all the venom that has been building up inside him.

The director also addressed a "hypothetical situation" where Khan might have him shot, suggesting he is no longer afraid to speak out against the actor. He added that while Khan himself may not be bothered by his statements, it is Khan's fans ("chamchas" or sycophants) who seem to take offense.

Khan had indirectly addressed Kashyap's past accusations on Bigg Boss 19, advising him to focus on his own family and work. He also questioned whether Kashyap had found any work, referencing Kashyap's claims that Khan and his family had sabotaged his career. "Mujhe baat buri sirf ek hee cheez lag rahi hai ki apne apne aap ko destroy kar diya," Khan said, suggesting that Kashyap was destroying himself through his negativity.

The feud between Kashyap and Khan dates back to the release of Dabangg, with Kashyap alleging that Khan's family sidelined him during the film's marketing. Kashyap has directed only one film since then, Besharam in 2013, and has largely stayed away from filmmaking.

Kashyap's recent outburst is a continuation of his long-standing public feud with Khan and a strong response to Khan's recent comments on Bigg Boss 19. The director's harsh words and serious accusations have reignited the controversy surrounding their relationship and brought renewed attention to Kashyap's claims against the actor. Salman Khan was last seen in Atlee's Sikandar and is set to appear in Battle of Galwan.
