Malti Chahar's Reaction to Nehal Chudasama's Miss India Win: A Question of Divine Intervention?

The Bigg Boss 19 house is currently embroiled in controversy following comments made by contestant Malti Chahar regarding fellow housemate Nehal Chudasama's appearance and her Miss India win. The incident has sparked outrage both inside and outside the house, with viewers taking to social media to condemn Chahar's behavior.

The conflict reportedly began during a discussion about preparing suji ka halwa in the kitchen. Chudasama, who is the current captain of the house, asked everyone not to interfere with the cooking. Chahar allegedly taunted her, calling the dish "ganda halwa" (bad halwa), which drew the attention of Baseer Ali, who questioned her choice of words.

The situation escalated when Chahar made a remark about Chudasama's clothes, reportedly saying, "Kapde pehen ke baat karna," which roughly translates to "Speak after wearing proper clothes" or "Next time, wear proper clothes before speaking to me". This comment left Chudasama, who was crowned Miss Diva Universe in 2018, "stunned and visibly upset".

Further stoking the fire, Chahar was also seen judging Chudasama's clothes and looks while talking with fellow contestants Tanya Mittal and Neelam Giri. Chahar questioned Chudasama's pageant win, stating, "God knows why they made her Miss India?". She also added, "Whenever she shouts bahot Gandi lagti hai (she looks very ugly and I can't see her for more than 10 minutes)". Chahar said she was disappointed because other pageant winners "have been very graceful, sophisticated," implying Chudasama was not.

Fellow housemates appeared shocked by Chahar's tone, and several tried to calm the situation. Ali, in particular, lashed out at Chahar, questioning her upbringing and threatening to throw her out of the house. Chudasama defended herself, asserting that anyone has the right to call out wrongdoing.

The controversy quickly spread online, with social media users criticizing Chahar for being disrespectful and body-shaming. Many called for her eviction from the show, while others cautioned that her comments were reflecting poorly on her family, particularly her brother, Indian cricketer Deepak Chahar. Some viewers believe Chahar is intentionally creating controversy to gain attention, while others feel her comments have crossed the line of basic respect.

Chudasama, who represented India at Miss Universe 2018, has faced challenges in the past, including being bullied for her darker skin tone and being overweight. She has also been open about her struggles with depression during her teenage years.

This isn't the first time Chahar has stirred controversy in the Bigg Boss house. She has been described as a polarizing figure due to her blunt remarks and confrontational attitude. In a recent episode, Chahar also stirred conversation after Bigg Boss asked her to hold the "Teddy Dear". Annoyed by the task, she dropped the teddy, fully aware that it might have consequences for the entire house, which led to Bigg Boss penalizing the house by deducting 11 ration items.

The current season of Bigg Boss 19 follows the theme "Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar," where contestants handle house decisions and consequences. All eyes are now on how the housemates and showrunners will respond to Chahar's latest outburst.
