Preeti Jhangiani Reminisces Mohabbatein Days: SRK's Competitive Spirit and Switzerland Card Games Revealed.

Preeti Jhangiani, known for her role in Aditya Chopra's "Mohabbatein," recently reminisced about her time working with Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) during the film's shooting in Switzerland. In a recent interview, Jhangiani shared a memorable anecdote about playing cards with SRK and Aditya Chopra, offering a glimpse into the superstar's competitive spirit.

Jhangiani described SRK as incredibly charming, recalling that she and the rest of the cast would often play cards at the hotel in Switzerland. It was during these informal moments that she observed his passionate and competitive nature. "He is very passionate and competitive, and he doesn't accept defeat," she said, noting that Aditya Chopra shared this trait.

Beyond the card games, Jhangiani also spoke about SRK's approachable and supportive demeanor on set. She recounted instances where SRK would sit on the floor, chatting with the spot boys and showing genuine interest in their lives. This humility left a lasting impression on her, contrasting with the behavior of some other stars she encountered later in her career.

Jhangiani also shared a specific example of SRK's helpfulness during the "Soni Soni" song shoot. Struggling with lip-syncing, she felt self-conscious about singing aloud to the pre-recorded track. SRK encouraged her to sing loudly, explaining that it would enhance her performance on camera. Following his advice, she sang with confidence, and the shot was approved.

According to Jhangiani, SRK's behavior made everyone feel comfortable. He offered advice without being preachy and was casual with everyone, making them feel special. She described him as someone who went the extra mile, spending time with the cast and crew.

"Mohabbatein," which premiered in 2000, marked Jhangiani's Bollywood debut. The film, which had an ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Uday Chopra, Jimmy Shergill, Jugal Hansraj, Kim Sharma, and Shamita Shetty, with a special appearance by Aishwarya Rai, catapulted her to fame. However, she also noted that the success of "Mohabbatein" typecast her in "damsel in distress" roles, which impacted her career.

Despite the challenges, Jhangiani cherishes her memories of working on "Mohabbatein," particularly the opportunity to observe and learn from Shah Rukh Khan. His humility, guidance, and competitive spirit continue to resonate with her, offering valuable lessons that have shaped her career.
