Mumbai, October 17, 2025 – Madhuri Dixit and Dr. Shriram Nene celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary on Friday, marking over two and a half decades of togetherness. The couple commemorated the special occasion with heartfelt tributes and loving messages shared on social media.
Madhuri Dixit, the celebrated Bollywood actress, posted a video montage on her Instagram, offering glimpses of her wedding festivities and cherished moments from throughout their journey together. She captioned the video, "From moments to memories, 26 years of walking through life hand in hand. Happy anniversary @drneneofficial,". She also added the romantic song “Tu Hain Toh” from the film “Mr. And Mrs. Mahi” as background music.
Dr. Shriram Nene also took to Instagram to express his love and appreciation for his wife. He shared a heartwarming video featuring a collection of their cherished memories, including snapshots from vacations and other outings. In his caption, Dr. Nene wrote, “To my love, happy 26th anniversary and to another year gone by and so many more happy ever after to come. Every year gets better with you. Madhuri Dixit and Dr. Shriram Nene tied the knot on October 17, 1999, in a private ceremony in Southern California. For six years, Madhuri embraced a life away from the spotlight, focusing on her family in the United States. When she decided to return to India and resume her acting career, Dr. Nene supported her decision and moved back with her. They are parents to two sons, Arin, born in 2003, and Raayan, born in 2005.
In 2007, Madhuri Dixit made her comeback to films after a five-year break, taking on the lead role in Anil Mehta's dance drama “Aaja Nachle”.
On the professional front, Madhuri has been cast as the lead in the upcoming web series “Mrs. Deshpande,” where she will portray a serial killer. The series, directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, is a remake of a popular French series.
