Travis Scott's Delhi Performance Descends into Chaos: Fans Disrupt Show and Pull Rapper Off Stage

Videos circulating on social media captured a moment of brief chaos during Travis Scott's highly anticipated debut concert in New Delhi on Saturday, October 18, 2025. The incident occurred as the American rapper stepped down from the stage to interact with fans near the front barricade at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

As Scott reached out to connect with the crowd, excited fans surged forward, attempting to pull him towards them. Security personnel immediately intervened to restore order, ensuring the artist's safety and preventing further disruption. The situation was quickly brought under control, lasting only a few seconds.

The Delhi concert marks Scott's first-ever performance in India, part of his Circus Maximus World Tour. Anticipation for the event was high, with tickets selling out rapidly after going on sale. Due to overwhelming demand, a second show was added for Sunday, October 19, which also sold out almost instantly. The two concerts are expected to draw a total attendance of over 120,000 fans.

The rapper took the stage at 8:00 PM, delivering hit songs like "Goosebumps", "Highest in the Room", "Sicko Mode", "90210", and "Type Shit". He also performed "FE!N" multiple times.

To ensure the safety and security of attendees, authorities deployed a large security force, including 1,600 private security personnel and between 1,200 and 1,800 Delhi Police officers. The Delhi Police and Delhi Traffic Police worked with the organizers to coordinate road closures, traffic diversions, and parking facilities. Concert-goers were advised to use public transport, especially the Delhi Metro, and to utilize designated entry gates and parking areas. Traffic restrictions were implemented from 4 pm to 10 pm on both concert days on key roads near the stadium.

The concert experience included cinematic visuals, immersive light shows and high energy. Canadian rapper and singer Nav was the opening act.

Despite the brief moment of chaos, fans have praised Scott's energetic performance and his efforts to connect with the audience. Inviting three fans onstage during "Type Shit" further energized the charged atmosphere. Scott told the crowd, "It's my first time in Delhi, let's show the world how Delhi pops!".

The event was produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live in India. BookMyShow signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Delhi Tourism to foster a 'concert economy' in the country.
