Lakshya Pursues Movie Dream: Leaving Lucrative TV Role for Silver Screen Success, Earning Rs 25,000 Daily.

Lakshya Lalwani, recognized for his roles in television hits such as "Porus," made a significant career shift, leaving behind the steady income of the TV industry to pursue his aspirations in film. At the peak of his television career, he was earning between ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 per day.

Lalwani's decision highlights a growing trend among television actors seeking to broaden their horizons in the Indian film industry. He has openly discussed how his television work provided him with a substantial daily income, a figure that he often references when discussing his career choices. According to NewsBytes, producer Ramesh Taurani mentioned that Lakshya gave up a potential ₹30 lakh per month income to chase his dreams in movies.

In a candid conversation with YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia in 2024, Lalwani recalled a conversation with his father, Romesh Lalwani, who provided a grounded yet supportive perspective. Lakshya shared that his father advised him to consider the offer, as his daily earnings were equivalent to his father's monthly income. The actor also admitted to feeling worn out after his show "Porus" concluded, which further motivated him to explore new avenues.

Lalwani's transition to film began with his debut in "Kill," an action thriller that allowed him to showcase his talent and on-screen presence. Following "Kill," Lalwani appeared in Aryan Khan's "The Ba***ds of Bollywood," where he portrayed a complex character. This role demonstrated his versatility, as he moved beyond conventional hero roles to take on more nuanced and demanding characters.

Looking ahead, Lakshya is preparing for new projects, including an action-romance film co-starring Rasha Thadani, which promises a blend of thrilling stunts and an emotional love story. He is also slated to appear in "Chand Mera Dil," a romantic drama alongside Ananya Panday, and the highly anticipated "Dostana 2".

Lakshya reflected on how his experiences in the film industry have changed him. He admitted that he had become arrogant while working in television. However, the challenges and experiences he faced in films made him realize there was much more to achieve.
