Rumors are swirling that Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, possibly engaged, may have spent Diwali together, fueling fan speculation.

Reports suggest the couple got engaged earlier in October 2025 in a private ceremony in Hyderabad, although neither has confirmed the news publicly and have remained silent, focusing on their careers.

Adding fuel to the fire, Vijay Deverakonda shared Diwali celebration videos on Instagram from his terrace, which led fans to believe Rashmika Mandanna was present. However, Rashmika was absent from Vijay's posts. Sources indicate that Rashmika is currently in Mumbai promoting her upcoming Bollywood film Thamma, which is set to release on October 21.

In the past, Rashmika has shared glimpses of Diwali celebrations at Vijay's home, further solidifying their relationship in the public eye. This year, despite reports of their engagement, she refrained from posting any such visuals.

Rashmika spoke about her Diwali plans and traditions in a recent interview, emphasizing the importance of togetherness, gratitude, and heartfelt rituals. Despite her busy schedule, she tries to keep the spirit of the festival alive by lighting diyas, wearing traditional attire, and connecting with family. She also admitted to having a sweet tooth and not being able to resist kaju katli during Diwali. "Diwali really is about lights and gratitude, isn't it? This year, I just feel so thankful… it's been such a beautiful ride with back-to-back releases, so much love coming in, and endless blessings," she stated. She added, "If there's one thing I'd like to light up this year, it's more positivity and kindness — not just around me, but in everything I do”.

While fans are eager to get a confirmation if the couple celebrated Diwali together, they will have to wait for an official statement from either Rashmika or Vijay.
