Mumbai, October 21, 2025 – Actress and producer Shehnaaz Gill was recently spotted at Mumbai Airport, radiating joy as the countdown begins for her upcoming film, "#IkkKudi". The film marks Gill's debut as a producer, a role she embraces with immense excitement.
Gill was seen sporting an elegant sky-blue ethnic kurta set, epitomizing a modern desi girl aesthetic. Her outfit featured delicate dori and aari work, complemented by pearls, sequins and bead embellishments. She paired the kurta with silk chanderi pants and an intricately embroidered organza dupatta. Her minimal makeup featured nude lipstick and a matte base, and she accessorized with round sunglasses and flats.
"#IkkKudi" is a family comedy-drama where Gill not only stars but also takes on the mantle of producer. The film is slated to release on October 31, 2025.
"Ikk Kudi is my first film as a producer, and I'm overjoyed to bankroll a female-centric story about a young woman and the challenges she faces around marriage," Gill stated. She further added, "To pick a strong narrative that thrives on a strong message is something that makes me feel proud, and I wouldn't have ever said 'no' to Ikk Kudi".
Directed by Amarjit Singh Saron and produced under Dharma Productions, the film features a talented cast including Gurjazz, Juss, Nirmal Rishi, and Harby Sangha. The film is a collaboration between Raaya Picturez, Shehnaaz Gill Productions, and Amor Film Presents.
Gill rose to fame after her appearance on "Bigg Boss 13" and has since starred in several successful films, including "Honsla Rakh", "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan", and "Thank You for Coming". She was also recently featured in the song "Sajna Ve Sajna" from the film "Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video".
In December 2024, Gill shared behind-the-scenes glimpses of "Ikk Kudi", expressing her excitement about the project. She posted a video on Instagram featuring moments from the set, showcasing her getting her makeup done, rehearsing, and sharing lighthearted moments with her fellow actors.
