Their recent sighting follows Diwali celebrations with close friends and family. This Diwali was particularly special as it marked their last celebration at their current residence, Vastu, before moving into their newly constructed home, the Krishna Raj bungalow in Bandra's Pali Hill. Alia shared glimpses of their Diwali festivities on Instagram, featuring heartwarming moments with Ranbir, their daughter Raha, Alia's sister Shaheen Bhatt, and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji. One photo showed Raha adorably coloring diyas.

The couple's decision to get married at home reflects their preference for intimate and personal celebrations. Alia mentioned they wanted their closest people with them and chose a super chill atmosphere over a large, formal event.

Both Alia and Ranbir have busy schedules ahead with multiple projects in the pipeline. Ranbir is currently working on Nitesh Tiwari's "Ramayana," a two-part film co-starring Yash and Sai Pallavi, with the first installment slated for release in Diwali 2026 and the second in Diwali 2027. He is also set to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Love and War," Ayan Mukerji's "Brahmastra 2," and Sandeep Reddy Vanga's "Animal Park".

Alia will be seen in "Alpha," co-starring Sharvari, directed by Shiv Rawail, expected to release in December 2025. She will also share screen space with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in "Love and War," scheduled for release in March 2026.
