Evicted Bigg Boss 19 contestant Zeishan Quadri has strongly criticized Malti Chahar for questioning Baseer Ali's sexuality on national television, calling it a "cheap game". In a recent interview with Zoom/Telly Talk India, Quadri expressed his disapproval of Chahar's behavior within the Bigg Boss house.
Quadri specifically called out Chahar for asking fellow contestant Amaal Mallik whether Baseer Ali was "straight or not". He questioned Chahar's intentions, asking, "Do you want to be in a relationship with him, with Baseer? Then who are you and why are you asking Amaal?". He suggested that Chahar should directly ask Baseer about his sexuality instead of involving others in what he deemed a pointless discussion. "Ya directly aap poochho, Baseer se poocho, wohi batayega kya hai wo, wohi batayega.Toh ye sab cheap game hai, which I didn't like," Quadri stated.
Quadri further slammed Chahar, questioning her motives for discussing Ali's sexuality on national television. "Iska kya relation hai matlab? Tum kya bicholi ho? Tum bicholi ho kya, ke tum iska rishta leke kahin aur jaati ho, wahan tumhara commission banta hai?" he questioned. He implied that Chahar was acting like a matchmaker and questioned what difference it makes to her whether Baseer is in a relationship or not. "Tumko kya farq pad raha, relation mein hai ya nahi hai? Tum apna kaam karo na dost. Ab wo straight hai ke nahi hai, tumko usse relation... tumko affair karna tha?" Quadri added.
Quadri shared that he has a close bond with Ali and considers him like a younger brother. He asserted that if he were still in the house, Chahar wouldn't have dared to ask such a question.
The controversy comes amidst other drama within the Bigg Boss 19 house. Host Salman Khan recently addressed the growing bond between Farrhana Bhatt and Tanya Mittal, teasing housemates about the drama it caused. In a promo for the "Weekend Ka Vaar" episode, Salman is seen questioning the reactions of other contestants, including Baseer and Nehal, to Tanya and Farrhana's friendship. He asked, "Kya hua Neelam, dost dost na rahi, pyaar pyaar na raha. Tanya, aapki ek nayi ally hai - Farrhana Bhatt. Aap dono ek saath hang out karne lage toh ye poora ghar kyun hila? Baseer, Nehal, aap logon ko aag kyun lagi? Kyunki humein yaad hai ki aap dono ne ek doosre ke baare mein kya kya nahi bola?".
Earlier in the week, viewers saw Tanya confiding in Farrhana about her strained friendship with Neelam. Tanya admitted that Neelam was possessive about her, fearing their closeness might "break Neelam's heart". This led to Neelam calling Farrhana a "ghar bigadu" (home-wrecker) during a heated kitchen discussion.
Adding to the season's controversies, Quadri has also accused fellow contestant Kunickaa Sadanand of playing a "dirty game" and being "toxic". He claimed that Kunickaa constantly created drama and conflicts inside the house. He also said, "Kal raat ko inhone Neelam ko bola ki ro kyun rahi hai, mara nahi. Bahar hi nikla hai ghar se. This is Kunickaa".
Bigg Boss 19 has been full of drama, and the recent remarks by Zeishan Quadri add another layer to the controversies unfolding within the house. It remains to be seen how these issues will be addressed in the upcoming episodes and how they will impact the relationships between the contestants.
