Mumbai, October 27, 2025 – Actor Arjun Rampal has shared a touching tribute to his late mother, Gwen Rampal, on the seventh anniversary of her passing. Through an emotional message on Instagram, the 'Om Shanti Om' actor expressed how deeply he misses her every day.

Rampal urged his followers to cherish their parents, calling those who have them "the luckiest people alive". He emphasized the importance of love and gratitude towards parents, highlighting the unconditional nature of parental love and the brevity of life.

The heartfelt message accompanied a video montage featuring cherished moments with his mother, including nostalgic childhood photos and more recent memories, offering a glimpse into their close bond. The video was set to Elvis Presley's song "Home Is Where the Heart Is".

Gwen Rampal passed away on October 27, 2018, after battling cancer. A few months before her death, Arjun shared a video on X featuring his mother discussing her fight with breast cancer and the challenges she faced. In the video, Rampal explained that after his mother's initial treatment, the cancer metastasized to her lungs. With the help of a friend, they sought treatment at the Champalimaud Foundation research center in Lisbon.

Arjun has often spoken fondly of his mother, acknowledging her as his guiding light and source of emotional strength. On a past Teachers' Day, he expressed how much he missed her, recognizing her selfless dedication to her children and the positive impact she had on her students as an English literature and history teacher. He credited her stories, love, and determination for keeping him strong and said that her graceful battle with cancer taught him to never give up.

Since his mother's passing, Arjun has consistently used social media to keep her memory alive. In 2023, on the fifth anniversary of her death, he shared a similar video montage, expressing his deep love and gratitude for everything she did for him and the many lives she touched.
