Madalsa Sharma Shares Sweet Insights: Mithun Chakraborty's Culinary Passion and Joy in Serving Loved Ones.

Mithun Chakraborty, the veteran Bollywood actor, possesses a culinary talent that extends beyond the silver screen, according to his daughter-in-law, Madalsa Sharma. In a recent exclusive interview, Sharma revealed Chakraborty's passion for cooking and serving his family, offering a glimpse into the personal life of the celebrated actor.

Sharma, known for her role in "The Bengal Files," shared that Chakraborty enjoys cooking and often prepares Bengali dishes at home. She fondly recalled her visit to Kolkata with her husband, Mimoh Chakraborty, and her in-laws, where she experienced authentic Bengali cuisine cooked by Chakraborty himself. "Dad loves cooking," Sharma said. "Even at home, he makes amazing Bengali food. And vaha jaake (Kolkata), it's like (you get) authentic Bengali food. We got to eat dad's cooked food and original Bengali food".

Sharma, who wasn't previously familiar with Bengali culture, expressed her delight in savoring the flavors of the region through Chakraborty's cooking. She stated that experiencing the food was very different for her. She highlighted the beauty of Kolkata, including its mosques, temples, and, most importantly, its delicious food. She particularly mentioned her love for "puchka" (panipuri), emphasizing that no visit to Kolkata is complete without trying it.

In a 2020 interview, Sharma referred to Chakraborty as a "Master Chef," noting his ability to master various cuisines, including Indian, South Indian, Chinese, and Continental. She also mentioned that he doesn't rely on recipes and often creates his own. Madalsa has also mentioned some of Mithun's signature dishes include amazing fish, chicken, and masala brinjal, along with Chinese food. She even admitted to becoming a "baigan" (brinjal/eggplant) fan because of how tasty Chakraborty makes it.

Sharma also spoke about the support she receives from her husband and in-laws, Mithun and Yogita Bali. She stated that they have been incredibly supportive of her career since day one, encouraging her to pursue her passions.

Recently, Sharma addressed her departure from the television show "Anupamaa". She clarified that her decision was not due to any disagreements with co-star Rupali Ganguly, but rather a creative decision by the show's makers to take a 15-year leap forward in the storyline. She acknowledged the talent and effort of the show's creators in maintaining its top position on Indian television for several years.
