Netra Mantena, daughter of US-based pharmaceutical billionaire Rama Raju Mantena and Padmaja Mantena, is marrying Vamsi Gadiraju, a tech entrepreneur. Rama Raju Mantena is the Chairman and CEO of Ingenus Pharmaceuticals, a global firm with research facilities in the US, Switzerland, and India, and the founder of ICORE Healthcare. Vamsi Gadiraju is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Superorder, a New York-based tech platform. He was also featured on the Forbes 30 Under 30 (Food and Drink) list in 2024.
The wedding festivities, spanning from November 21st to 24th, are taking place across several luxurious venues in Udaipur, including The Leela Palace, the City Palace (including Manek Chowk and Zenana Mahal), and Jagmandir Island Palace on Lake Pichola. The celebrations are a blend of royal traditions and modern elements, featuring folk drummers, traditional dance troupes, and Mewari cultural performances.
Ranveer Singh's performance at the sangeet was a major highlight. He performed a medley of his hit songs and invited Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend, Bettina Anderson, onto the stage. Singh taught them the hook step of "What Jhumka?" from the film 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani', which became a viral moment. The sangeet ceremony was hosted by Karan Johar and Sophie Choudry. Johar even conducted a "Koffee with Karan" segment with the couple. The evening included performances by Kriti Sanon, who danced to a Diljit Dosanjh track, and Jacqueline Fernandez, who performed her hit song "Laal Pari". Varun Dhawan also performed the title track of "Badrinath Ki Dulhania". Prior to the wedding festivities, Donald Trump Jr. was spotted visiting the Taj Mahal in Agra.

Security has been tightened throughout Udaipur for the high-profile event. The wedding festivities include a musical evening at Zenana Mahal, a haldi ceremony, the wedding ceremony at Jagmandir, and a reception. Guests are scheduled to depart on chartered flights from Dabok airport on November 24.
