Gautam has been consistently supportive of Dhar's project, especially after the trailer launch on November 18. She initially lauded the trailer on X (formerly Twitter) and admitted to watching it "countless times". Filming commenced in July 2024, spanning various locations, including an international schedule in Bangkok. According to a source from Bollywood Hungama, the film releasing on December 5 will be the first installment, concluding at a decisive point with the story continuing in the second part. Furthermore, the film's runtime is expected to exceed three hours. One source revealed that the current runtime is approximately 3 hours and 5 minutes, with the final duration to be confirmed.
Gautam revealed that she was moved to tears after hearing the concept of Dhurandhar and has been looking forward to its release ever since. She described the script as deeply moving. In an interview with 'Mirchi,' Yami Gautam said, "From what I have seen of this film, I can give you a hint that it is an amazing film. As a wife, I am very proud of Aditya. The work he has done as an artist is commendable. Today, we keep wondering what new can we show the audience that will pull them into the theaters. So, I think 'Dhurandhar' is that film. The year 2025 is coming to an end and this film will be a welcome gift for 2026".
