Yami Gautam has lauded the Qawwali song "Ishq Jalakar Karvaan" from the movie Dhurandhar, calling it ‘epic’. The track has gained immense popularity since the release of the Dhurandhar trailer on November 18, 2025, which garnered over 50 million views on YouTube.

Due to the overwhelming public demand that followed the trailer's release, Saregama, Jio Studios, and B62 Studios expedited the release of "Ishq Jalakar - Karvaan". The song, composed by Shashwat Sachdev and Roshan Lal, is a reimagining of the classic by Roshan Lal. The new version features the voices of Shashwat Sachdev, Shahzad Ali, Subhadeep Das Chowdhury, and Armaan Khan, with lyrics by Sahir Ludhianvi and Irshad Kamil.

Following the trailer release, fans created edits of the song and shared them on social media, urging for the full version to be released. The song's modern interpretation by Shashwat Sachdev has been praised, contributing to its viral momentum.

Aditya Dhar, the director of Dhurandhar, stated that the release of "Ishq Jalakar - Karvaan" was unplanned but became necessary due to the audience's excitement. He added that Shashwat Sachdev reimagined the classic track "Na to karvan ki talash" and that he is happy that the audience can now listen to the song.
