Sai Ketan Rao and Shivangi Khedkar Marriage Rumours Addressed: Khedkar Denies Speculation, Affirms It's Just a Rumour

Recent reports have indicated that Sai Ketan Rao and Shivangi Khedkar, co-stars from "Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali," are not getting married, despite rumors suggesting otherwise. Shivangi Khedkar has clarified that the rumors are unfounded, emphasizing that she and Sai are just friends.

The speculation surrounding their relationship and potential marriage plans gained traction after Sai Ketan Rao's appearance on "Bigg Boss OTT 3". During a "Weekend Ka Vaar" episode, host Anil Kapoor playfully questioned Sai about his relationship with Shivangi, even teasing him about the ring chains they both wear. Sai's initial hesitation, followed by what seemed like a confirmation, led many to believe that a wedding was on the horizon.

However, Sai Ketan Rao has since refuted these claims, stating that his words were misinterpreted. In an interview with Telly Masala, he explained that Anil Kapoor had asked him two separate questions – one about Shivangi, whom he considers a close friend, and another about his marriage plans in general. Sai clarified that while he does wish to get married in the coming year or so, he did not confirm that Shivangi would be the one he marries. He stated, "I agreed on getting married. I wish to get married this year or maybe next year, kiske sath hogi, lets see," emphasizing that his future partner remains unknown.

Adding to the clarification, Shivangi Khedkar addressed the rumors in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, stating that she loves Sai only as a friend. She explained that their careers started around the same time, creating a strong connection between them, but clarified that she harbors no romantic feelings for him.

Both Sai and Shivangi have consistently maintained that their relationship is platonic, built on mutual support and understanding. Sai reiterated this point, wishing Shivangi the best for her future and emphasizing their enduring friendship. "Talking about each other, we are best friends and we have always supported each other. Not just in Bigg Boss, she has also supported me in the outside world too and it has been vice versa," Sai stated.

The two actors share a close bond that developed during their time working together on "Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali". Despite the persistent rumors and public speculation, they have remained steadfast in their stance that their relationship is rooted in friendship. Sai's recent statements aim to clear up any misunderstandings and reinforce the fact that while he does intend to get married someday, it may not necessarily be with Shivangi.
