Aam Aadmi Party leader Raghav Chadha has credited his wife, Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra, for helping him achieve a better work-life balance since their marriage. In a recent interview, Chadha openly discussed how Chopra has positively influenced his life, bringing a sense of equilibrium to his previously work-dominated schedule.
"Before marriage, it was zero. It was only work. No balance, no life," Chadha admitted. He contrasted this with his current situation, stating, "Now, after marriage, there is work-life balance, and I thank you for that. There's still a lot of work, but there's also some life, and a sense of balance. I feel gradually the work-life balance will improve over the next five years". He humorously added that he might even consider quitting work to spend more time with Chopra, who is currently expecting their first child.
The couple, who tied the knot on September 24, 2023, have often shared insights into their relationship, including their perspectives on managing finances and their initial meeting. Chadha playfully acknowledged Chopra's role as the "Finance and Home Minister" of their household, recognizing that her career as an actress is more lucrative than his as a politician.
Chadha also recounted his first meeting with Chopra's parents in Ambala, describing it as a warm and engaging experience that lasted for four hours, far longer than the intended brief visit. He admitted to feeling more nervous meeting them than delivering a speech in Parliament.
Chopra has also spoken about life after marrying Chadha, emphasizing the importance of making memories and cherishing time with family. She expressed her desire to live a complete life, balancing her career with personal moments and travel. In an interview with the Times of India, Chopra shared her thoughts on maintaining a healthy work-life balance, stating, "It's very important to strike the right work-life balance... I believe in working really hard but I also love to meet my friends and go on holidays. When I am 85 or 90 years old, I should look back and feel that I lived my life the way it should be done".
