Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor has officially joined the cast of Zootopia 2, lending her voice to the Hindi version of the film as Judy Hopps. The highly anticipated sequel to the billion-dollar franchise is set to hit theaters on November 28, 2025. Disney India made the announcement on November 7th, sharing an adorable poster featuring Kapoor alongside the animated Judy Hopps.
Kapoor expressed her excitement about joining the Disney family and voicing the iconic character. She described Judy Hopps as "feisty, courageous, and enthusiastic". Disney India echoed this sentiment, stating that Kapoor's charm and energy make her a perfect fit for the role, and that she will bring a refreshing spark to Judy, perfectly capturing the bunny cop's optimism, determination, and boundless energy.
Zootopia 2 revisits the vibrant metropolis of Zootopia, following the adventures of Judy Hopps and her partner, Nick Wilde. The duo will face new challenges as they navigate a new case involving a mysterious snake named Gary, voiced by Ke Huy Quan. The original English voice cast includes Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman, reprising their roles as Judy and Nick, respectively. Shakira is also set to return as Gazelle, with a new song and choreography.
