Grammy Award-winning guitarist and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Tom Morello is set to make his India debut in December 2025, performing across three cities: Gurugram on December 17, Mumbai on December 19, and Bengaluru on December 21. The tour, co-produced by Tom Morello and BookMyShow Live as part of Bandland on Tour, marks a significant moment for India's rock community, with tickets having gone on sale October 8, 2025.
Morello has expressed his excitement about performing in India, stating that it has always been on his map, and he acknowledges the passionate audience that has followed his music and message for years. He looks forward to bringing his songs to life on stage and sharing his energy with fans.
Adding to the excitement, Morello has revealed that his son, Roman Morello, a talented guitarist in his own right, will be joining him on stage. "I'm bringing my family. I wanted them to experience it as well, and my son Roman, who is a spectacular shredding guitar player — there will be more than one generation of Morellos on stage," Morello stated. This announcement hints at a unique intergenerational dynamic, promising a memorable experience for fans.
Tom Morello's career spans over three decades and includes his work with Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave. Beyond these bands, Morello co-founded Prophets of Rage with members of Cypress Hill and Public Enemy. He also explored protest folk as The Nightwatchman. Morello has recently released singles like "Pretend You Remember Me" and collaborated with various artists.
Notably, Tom Morello and his son Roman collaborated on the song "Soldier in the Army of Love", which was released in June 2024. Morello has also acknowledged his son's exceptional guitar skills, stating that Roman can "shred circles" around him. The pair also teamed up with Grandson for the track “One Last Dance,” which is featured in the film Venom: The Last Dance.
Indian fans can anticipate a performance that draws from Morello's extensive catalog, including material from Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, Prophets of Rage, his solo work, and collaborations.
