Meezaan Jafri, the Bollywood actor, recently revealed that he had auditioned for the role of Amar Singh Chamkila in the Imtiaz Ali-directed biopic of the same name. In a recent interview, Jafri admitted that while he gave the audition his all, he believes that Diljit Dosanjh was the perfect choice for the role.
"I did the full stache, wore the pagdi, learnt Chamkila's song...went for it dil se," Jafri shared, highlighting his dedication to the audition process. He further added, praising Dosanjh, "He knows the flavour... absolutely smashed it".
