Ahaan Panday & Aneet Padda's Saiyaara Coming to Television: Mark Your Calendars for the World Premiere!

The romantic drama Saiyaara, starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, is set for its world television premiere soon, marking another milestone in the film's successful run. The film, directed by Mohit Suri and backed by Yash Raj Films, has already made waves at the box office and earned critical acclaim.

Saiyaara became a blockbuster hit, earning ₹569.75 crore worldwide. The film, which marked Ahaan Panday's on-screen debut alongside Aneet Padda, has resonated with audiences across different age groups because of its heartfelt narrative and fresh performances.

The film is reportedly a remake of the 2004 South Korean film A Moment to Remember, and explores the relationship between Su-Jin and Chul-Soo, testing their marriage when Su-Jin is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's disease.

Recently, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda were honored as Gen Z Icons at the CNN-News18 Awards for their performances in Saiyaara. During the event in Delhi, they recreated an iconic scene from Saiyaara, where Ahaan’s character stops Aneet from leaving by saying, "Abhi thoda waqt hai mere paas (I still have some time with me)," followed by a warm embrace. Videos of this recreation went viral, stirring excitement among fans and highlighting the pair's undeniable on-screen chemistry.

Before his debut in Saiyaara, Ahaan Panday underwent extensive training at YRF. YRF's casting director Shanoo Sharma revealed that Ahaan and Sharvari (who debuted in Bunty Aur Babli 2) participated in acting workshops for three years, which included improvisations and scene work. Ahaan also worked as an assistant director on The Railway Men during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Saiyaara's success has also been celebrated at the Yellowstone International Film Festival, where it received the Popular Choice Award. Producer and Yash Raj Films CEO Akshay Widhani, along with director Mohit Suri, accepted the award at a ceremony in Mumbai. Mohit Suri expressed his gratitude, stating it was his first award in 20 years and credited Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge as his inspiration for becoming a filmmaker.

Looking ahead, Aneet Padda is set to appear in Maddock Films' upcoming horror-comedy Shakti Shalini. Ahaan Panday will star alongside Sharvari in an action-romance film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Yash Raj Films.
