After a decade-long hiatus, Mahhi Vij is making a comeback to television with Colors TV's new drama series, "Seher Hone Ko Hai". The show premiered on December 2, 2025, and airs every Monday to Friday on Colors TV and JioHotstar. "Seher Hone Ko Hai" tells the story of Kausar, a mother who was forced into marriage at a young age and is now determined to give her daughter, Seher, the freedom she never had.

The role of Seher is played by newcomer Rishita Kothari. Veteran actors Vaquar Shaikh and Deepak Qazir play Parvez and Osmaan respectively. Apurva Agnihotri appears as Dr. Farid, who represents a contrast to traditional norms.
Adding complexity to the narrative is Mahid, played by Parth Samthaan, the heir to the influential family Seher's father wants her to marry into.
