King Charles & Camilla's 20th Anniversary Celebrated with Portrait on the 2025 Royal Christmas Card.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla's official 2025 Christmas card has been revealed, featuring a photograph taken in April 2025 during their state visit to Italy to commemorate their 20th wedding anniversary. The image, captured by royal photographer Chris Jackson, portrays the King and Queen in the gardens of Villa Wolkonsky in Rome, the residence of the British ambassador to Italy.

The photograph shows Charles and Camilla standing side by side, with the Queen's arm linked with the King's. The Queen, 78, is wearing a white and beige coat dress by Anna Valentine and a Lily of the Valley brooch, which is a symbol of enduring love. The King, 77, is wearing a navy suit and neutral tie. In the image, he is dressed in a blue pinstripe suit with a grey tie and a silk handkerchief in his chest pocket. The card is framed by a dark red border, with a message in a matching color that reads "Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year".

The selection of the anniversary portrait underscores the personal significance of the past year for the royal couple. They celebrated their milestone 20th wedding anniversary on April 9, 2025, while fulfilling royal duties abroad. The evening of their anniversary was marked by their attendance as guests of honor at a grand banquet.

Senior members of the royal family traditionally release official images for Christmas cards, which are sent to family, friends, colleagues, world leaders, diplomats, charities, and organizations.

King Charles is preparing to host the wider royal family on Christmas Day, with the celebrations expected to take place at Sandringham in Norfolk. While the Prince of Wales indicated last year that he spent Christmas Day with 45 family members "all in one room," Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson are expected to be absent from the festivities.

The Prince and Princess of Wales are also expected to release their own Christmas card in the coming weeks.

Despite King Charles' ongoing treatment, he has maintained a busy schedule of engagements. This week, he welcomed the German President to Windsor Castle for an official state visit, marking the third inbound visit this year. The last time the UK hosted three state visits in a single year was in 1988.

Last year, the King and Queen shared a new picture of themselves taken when the monarch postponed public engagements to undergo cancer treatment.

The release of the Christmas card continues the royal family's tradition of sharing festive greetings and personal reflections with the public.
