Mumbai, December 8, 2025 – Veteran Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has recently opened up about finding love again at the age of 60, expressing his surprise and joy at this new chapter in his life. Khan, who has been married twice before, is now in a relationship with Gauri Spratt, whom he introduced to the public earlier this year.
In a recent interview at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2025, Khan shared his thoughts on his current relationship and his enduring bonds with his ex-wives, Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. He emphasized the importance of maintaining respectful and loving relationships with them, highlighting that they are "all actually one family". Khan was married to Reena Dutta from 1986 to 2002 and has two children with her, Ira and Junaid. He then married Kiran Rao in 2005, and they separated in 2021, sharing a son named Azad.
Speaking about Gauri Spratt, Khan revealed that he never expected to find love again after his previous marriages. "No, I didn't actually," he admitted. "To be very honest, I think I had reached a point where I felt I probably wouldn't be able to find someone who can be my partner. I was not expecting it". He expressed his gratitude for Spratt's presence in his life, describing her as "an amazing person" who brings "a lot of calm" and "steadiness". "I'm so fortunate actually and lucky I feel that I met her," he added.
Khan also reflected on the significant roles Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao have played in his life. "I think I'm still very happy that I met Reena, Kiran, and now Gauri in my life," he said. "They are the three people who have really contributed to me as a person in a very big way. I really look up to them in many ways". He described Reena as "an amazing person" with whom he grew up, emphasizing the "love and respect" he holds for her. He shared similar sentiments about Kiran, stating that they "decided to part ways as husband and wife, but we are family".
Khan's open discussion about his personal life has resonated with many, who admire his progressive views on relationships and family. His ability to maintain strong bonds with his former partners while embracing a new relationship is seen as a testament to his character and values.
While Khan has introduced Gauri Spratt to the media and acknowledged their relationship, he has also stated that he doesn't foresee getting married again. "See, we are fully committed. And I have been married twice," he said.
