Arjun Rampal is expressing his gratitude for the overwhelming response to his recently released film, "Dhurandhar". The actor shared several behind-the-scenes (BTS) pictures from the sets of the film on his Instagram, thanking fans for their "incredible love, support and acceptance".
"Ladies & Gentlemen, we were not ready for this," Rampal wrote in his Instagram post. He continued by expressing his gratitude for the audience's reaction to "Dhurandhar". He credited the film's success to the "vision and passion" of director Aditya Dhar. Rampal recalled the day Dhar narrated the film to him, realizing the importance and uniqueness of the story. He praised Dhar's extensive research, the depth of the characters, and their distinct creation, from their looks to their attitudes. Rampal also acknowledged Dhar's ability to handle pressure during filming while maintaining a positive attitude.
Rampal also extended his appreciation to the film's cinematographer, Vikash Nowlakha, and editor, Ojas Gautam, for their dedication. He thanked casting director Mukesh Chhabra for casting him as Major Iqbal.
Furthermore, Rampal lauded his co-stars, including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun. He specifically praised Akshaye Khanna's performance, calling it outstanding. He described R Madhavan as "pure genius". He also expressed his love for Sanjay Dutt. In his post, Rampal appreciated the "focus, determination, mad methods" of Ranveer Singh.
The film "Dhurandhar," directed by Aditya Dhar, was released on December 5, 2025. Prior to the release, Dhar shared monochrome BTS photos of Arjun Rampal in his character as ISI Major Iqbal on social media to celebrate Rampal's birthday. The images hint at the film's gritty tone. Dhar has described Rampal as "pure menace on-screen but warm and generous off-screen".
"Dhurandhar" has been described as one of the most-awaited films of the year.
