Mirza expressed her excitement about this new endeavor, emphasizing the significance of creating content for young minds. She has already shared the stories with her son, Avyaan, and is eager for him to experience them fully with illustrations.

Mirza's foray into children's literature aligns with her long-standing commitment to environmental awareness and education. In the past, she has been involved with organizations such as the Cancer Patients Aid Association, Spastics Society of India, and has collaborated with the Andhra Pradesh government to promote HIV awareness and prevent female foeticide. She has also supported PETA, CRY, and the NDTV Greenathon. Additionally, Mirza serves on the board of the Coca-Cola Foundation, which focuses on rural development in India.

Beyond her environmental advocacy, Mirza has had a successful career in Bollywood, with notable roles in films like "Dus," "Lage Raho Munna Bhai," "Sanju," and "Thappad". She also co-owned a production house, Born Free Entertainment, and later launched her own, One India Stories.
