Aishwarya Rai Clarifies Daughter Aaradhya's Social Media Absence, Cautions Public About Impersonation Accounts.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has addressed the widespread speculation surrounding her daughter Aaradhya's presence on social media, clarifying that the 14-year-old does not have any official accounts. Speaking at the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah, the actress set the record straight, urging the public to be cautious of fake profiles circulating online.

Rai Bachchan acknowledged the existence of numerous accounts using Aaradhya's name and images but firmly stated that these are not managed by her family. While expressing gratitude to well-wishers who may have created these pages out of affection, she reiterated that they are not genuine and that Aaradhya is not currently on any social media platform. "The things that are out there, sometimes people believe that's hers, no it isn't," Aishwarya stated. "There is some well-wisher out there who's made it, I guess. Obviously it comes from a place of love for Aaradhya, for my family, for my husband, for me, and you know, thank you for all your love, but that isn't her, she's not on social media".

The actress emphasized the importance of being mindful in the digital world, where identities can easily be misrepresented. She cautioned fans against assuming the authenticity of every page bearing Aaradhya's name or photos.

Touching on the broader topic of social media, Aishwarya Rai also shared her personal approach to these platforms. She revealed that she keeps her interaction minimal and primarily uses social media for professional purposes. Acknowledging the integral role social media plays in contemporary life, she recognized its advantages as a platform for engagement, professional networking, and communication. "The thing about social media is that they are a part of life today," she explained. "It is used as a platform to engage, to kind of share your professional work, for companies that engage with you to want to put the communication out, for colleagues to want to kind of encourage people's possible career opportunities".

However, she also noted the potential pitfalls of excessive social media consumption, observing how easily individuals can become absorbed in their phones and potentially disengage from real-life interactions. Aishwarya also touched upon global conversations regarding age restrictions and guidelines for social media, particularly to safeguard younger users.

Aishwarya Rai's clarification comes amid ongoing discussions and debates surrounding children's online presence and the potential risks associated with social media. Her remarks highlight the importance of parental awareness and responsible digital engagement in an increasingly connected world.
