Allu Arjun Celebrates Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar in Hyderabad, Lauding the Film's Brilliant Craftsmanship and Execution.

Hyderabad, December 12, 2025 - Allu Arjun, the Telugu cinema superstar, has showered praise on Ranveer Singh's latest film, "Dhurandhar," after watching it in a Hyderabad theater. The "Pushpa" actor took to social media to share his thoughts on the action-packed spy thriller, lauding the performances, technical aspects, and music.

"Just watched #Dhurandhar. A brilliantly made film filled with fine performances, the finest technical aspects, and amazing soundtracks," Allu Arjun posted on X (formerly Twitter). He specifically commended Ranveer Singh for his "magnetic presence" and versatility, stating that he "rocked the show".

In addition to Singh, Allu Arjun also lauded the performances of other cast members, including Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun. He described Akshaye Khanna's presence as a "charismatic aura" and Sanjay Dutt, Madhavan and Rampal as having a "rock-solid presence". He also acknowledged Sara Arjun's "sweet presence".

Allu Arjun extended his appreciation to the director, Aditya Dhar, congratulating him for his filmmaking. "Anddddd… of course, the captain of the ship, the brilliant and spectacular filmmaker @AdityaDharFilms garu. You nailed it as an ace filmmaker with full swag. I loved it! Just watch it and enjoy the show, guysss…" he wrote.

"Dhurandhar," directed by Aditya Dhar, has been a box office success, reportedly crossing ₹200 crore in its first week. The film is the first chapter of a planned two-part spy action franchise and stars Ranveer Singh as a RAW agent who goes undercover to dismantle a gangster-ISI nexus. The film also features Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi.

The positive reception from Allu Arjun adds to the growing chorus of praise for "Dhurandhar" from both audiences and critics. Vicky Kaushal, who starred in Dhar's directorial debut "Uri: The Surgical Strike," also shared his positive review of the film on Instagram, applauding Dhar and the team for their conviction and technical brilliance. Akshay Kumar called it a "gripping tale," while Hrithik Roshan praised the storytelling and performances. Smriti Irani lauded Akshaye Khanna's performance as a lesson in craft.

However, the film has also faced some criticism, with some reviewers pointing out the film's justification of violence and its alignment with the ruling power. Some critics have also reported intimidation and threats for giving negative reviews. R Madhavan, who plays a significant role in the film, questioned if there was an "agenda" behind some of the negative reviews.

Despite the mixed critical reception, "Dhurandhar" continues to draw audiences to theaters, especially in cities like Hyderabad, where it is reportedly dominating the box office. Allu Arjun's praise will likely further boost the film's popularity and encourage more viewers to experience the action thriller on the big screen.
