Nidhhi Agerwal's Song Launch Chaos: Lulu Mall and Organisers Booked After Fan Frenzy.

Hyderabad, December 18, 2025 – A song launch event for the upcoming Prabhas-starrer film, The Raja Saab, took a turn for the worse on Wednesday evening when actress Nidhhi Agerwal was mobbed by an unruly crowd at Lulu Mall in Hyderabad. The Kukatpally Housing Board (KPHB) police have registered a suo motu case against the mall management and the event organizers following the incident.

The event was held to unveil the song "Sahana Sahana" from The Raja Saab and was attended by director Maruthi and the film's lead actress, Nidhhi Agerwal. While the event initially proceeded smoothly, chaos erupted as Agerwal attempted to leave the venue. A massive crowd of fans surged towards her, eager to catch a glimpse, take pictures, or interact with the actress.

Videos circulating on social media show Agerwal struggling to navigate through the dense crowd, with individuals jostling to get uncomfortably close. Despite being escorted by security personnel, the situation quickly spiraled out of control, leaving Agerwal visibly distressed. In the videos, she and her security team are seen pushing people back in an attempt to clear a path toward her car.

The incident has drawn sharp criticism from fans and social media users, who have expressed concerns about the lack of crowd control and event management. Many have condemned the behavior of the crowd, with some labeling it as "disgusting" and disrespectful of the actress's personal space.

The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi, is generating significant buzz as Prabhas's first foray into the horror genre. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar. The Raja Saab is scheduled for a theatrical release on January 9, 2026, coinciding with Sankranthi. Filming commenced in October 2022, following an official announcement in January 2024.

The police investigation will likely focus on determining whether adequate safety measures were in place and whether the event organizers and mall management were prepared for the large turnout. The incident has raised concerns about the safety of celebrities at public events and the need for better crowd management strategies to prevent similar occurrences in the future. While no injuries were reported, the incident has left Nidhhi Agerwal shaken and prompted a broader conversation about fan behavior and event safety.
