The controversy stems from a resurfaced video clip of Anasuya participating in a comedy skit where she used "double meaning dialogues" directed at Raasi. Raasi had earlier expressed her discomfort with the skit, revealing that she was deeply hurt by the suggestive remarks. She further disclosed that she had been invited to participate in a comedy show that planned to mock her character from the film Preyasi Raave, but she declined the offer due to her aversion to humiliating content. Raasi stated that Anasuya's involvement in the skit added to her disappointment, and she strongly condemned body-shaming and insensitive language, emphasizing that no one has the right to demean another person in the name of entertainment. Raasi even considered legal action but decided against it after her mother's advice.
