Mirzapur's Big Screen Debut: Release Date Announced for the Gangster Action-Drama Starring Tripathi, Fazal, and Divyenndu.

The highly anticipated film adaptation of the hit streaming series "Mirzapur" is set to explode onto the big screen on September 4, 2026. Excel Entertainment officially announced the release date, sending waves of excitement among fans of the action-drama.

The announcement was accompanied by a striking poster released on Excel Entertainment's Instagram, depicting a convoy of SUVs speeding through a golden desert, leaving a dust trail that evokes images of blood and violence. The title "MIRZAPUR" is emblazoned in cracked, blood-red letters, further hinting at the film's themes of aggression, power struggles, and intense action.

"Mirzapur: The Movie" promises to bring back the core cast that fans have come to love, including Pankaj Tripathi as the ruthless crime boss Akhandanand "Kaleen" Tripathi, Ali Fazal as Guddu Pandit, Divyenndu as Munna Tripathi, Shweta Tripathi as Golu Gupta, and Rasika Dugal. Despite Munna Tripathi's apparent demise in the second season of the series, Divyenndu will be returning to play the role. The film will also introduce new faces to the "Mirzapur" universe, with the addition of Jitendra Kumar, Sonal Chouhan, and Ravi Kishan.

The film is directed by Gurmmeet Singh, who also directed the series, ensuring a consistent vision and tone. Production is handled by Excel Entertainment, with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani at the helm.
