Malti Chahar, sister of Indian cricketer Deepak Chahar, recently entered the Bigg Boss 19 house as a wild card contestant, immediately stirring up drama and conversation. The model, actress, content creator, and filmmaker made her Bollywood debut in the 2018 movie Genius.
Upon entering the house, Malti expressed that she views her late entry as both an advantage and a disadvantage. While she has the opportunity to observe and understand the existing contestants, they don't know much about her. This immediately sparked gossip among the other housemates. Tanya Mittal and Neelam Giri were seen discussing Malti, with Tanya admitting to feeling insecure and sensing "cold vibes" from her. Malti also cautioned Shehbaz Badesha, brother of Shehnaaz Gill, against touching her possessions.
During the "Weekend Ka Vaar" episode, host Salman Khan introduced Malti as the second wild card contestant. He playfully alluded to her late arrival as the "second powerplay". Malti confidently stated that she knows the other contestants, but they don't know her, giving her a unique perspective.
Malti's family background is steeped in sports. Her father, Lokendra Singh Chahar, served in the Indian Air Force and later dedicated his time to supporting Deepak's cricket career. Malti also revealed that her cousin, Rahul Chahar, plays cricket for India. She was born in Agra on November 15, 1990. Before entering the world of entertainment, Malti earned attention as a finalist in Femina Miss India 2014, where she won the title of Miss Photogenic. She also holds a degree in software engineering.
Before entering the Bigg Boss house, Malti had already established a significant presence on social media and in the entertainment industry. She gained initial fame as the "mystery girl" during IPL 2018, capturing attention while cheering for Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
It remains to be seen which contestants Malti finds "non-worthy" and what she truly thinks of "Amaal's team," but her arrival has undoubtedly injected fresh energy and potential conflict into the Bigg Boss 19 house.
