Radhe Controversy: Rajat Bedi Speaks Out on Salman Khan Removing Him From the Film.

Recent reports have clarified long-standing rumors surrounding Rajat Bedi's involvement in the 2021 Salman Khan film, Radhe. Contrary to earlier speculation, Bedi has stated that he was not removed from the film by Khan, but rather advised against taking a particular role.

The speculation arose from previous interviews where Bedi mentioned Khan's advice regarding the role. This led to some reports suggesting a fallout between the two actors, with claims that Khan had him removed from Radhe. However, Bedi has now refuted these claims, clarifying that Khan was looking out for his best interests.

In a recent interview with Screen, Bedi addressed the rumors directly, stating, "Wrong information, all wrong information! Salman bhai loves me. Salman bhai has huge respect for me and my family... He loves my son also. I love Bhai. Please ye galat information spread karna band karo". He emphasized the strong bond and mutual respect between him and Khan, dismissing any notion of a rift.

Bedi further explained that he was initially offered a role in Radhe by Khan's production company. However, upon learning about the specific role, Khan advised Bedi against taking it. According to Bedi, Khan said, "Tu ye role nahi karega beta. Main tujhe kuch badiya kaam dunga" which translates to "You won't do this role, son. I'll give you something better". Bedi understood that Khan wanted to protect his image and offer him a more substantial role in the future.

"[Bhai] was looking out for me, not sidelining me," Bedi clarified. He explained that Khan felt the role wasn't appropriate for him and promised a better opportunity. Although initially "heartbroken" by the news, Bedi respected Khan's decision and understood his intentions. Bedi also stated that there has never been any strain between the two families. He highlighted the long-standing relationship between his family and Khan's father, Salim Khan, emphasizing their mutual respect.

Bedi's clarification puts to rest the rumors of a fallout with Salman Khan and sheds light on the real reason he didn't appear in Radhe. It reveals a relationship built on respect and genuine concern, with Khan prioritizing Bedi's career and image.

Rajat Bedi recently made a comeback in Aryan Khan's debut web series, The Ba*ds of Bollywood, after a nearly two-decade absence from the screen. He played Jaraj Saxena in the series.
