YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, has confirmed his single status amidst rumors of a breakup following a controversy surrounding his appearance on the show "India's Got Latent". The controversy erupted earlier this year after Allahbadia made a joke on the show that was deemed distasteful.

Allahbadia addressed the breakup rumors while in conversation with actress Tara Sutaria on his podcast. He stated that he is a 32-year-old man focused on "building a castle" for himself, welcoming others to visit, but not actively seeking love. He also expressed a strong desire for marriage, stating he "just wanted a wife so bad".

The controversy surrounding "India's Got Latent" involved allegedly obscene remarks made on the show, leading to legal action. Multiple FIRs were filed against judges and participants, including Allahbadia, comedian Samay Raina, and others. The National Commission for Women intervened, and police recorded statements from those involved. The show's content was deemed objectionable, leading to its removal from YouTube.

Prior to the controversy and breakup confirmation, Allahbadia was rumored to be dating actress Nikki Sharma. Breakup rumors initially surfaced when the two unfollowed each other on Instagram. Sharma further fueled speculation by sharing a cryptic post about relationships, which read: "The right people make you feel seen, heard, loved, worthy, and valued". While neither Allahbadia nor Sharma officially confirmed their relationship, they were often spotted together, including during a trip to London in November 2024.

In December 2024, Allahbadia shared an incident where he and his girlfriend were caught in a dangerous underwater current while swimming in Goa. They were rescued by a family, with Allahbadia expressing gratitude for their survival.

The "India's Got Latent" controversy significantly impacted Allahbadia, with a reported loss of Instagram followers. The show itself faced severe repercussions, including cancellation and the removal of all episodes from Samay Raina's YouTube channel. The controversy also sparked discussions about content regulation on OTT platforms.

Allahbadia has apologized for his comments on the show, acknowledging a "lapse in judgement" and stating that "comedy wasn't his forte". He refrained from providing any context or justification for his actions.
