With the release of "Aavan Jaavan," the first song from YRF's War 2, Hrithik Roshan has ignited a global dance campaign, inviting fans worldwide to groove to the music. The track, featuring Roshan and Kiara Advani, dropped on July 31, 2025, coinciding with Advani's birthday.

Roshan is encouraging everyone to participate, emphasizing the song's simple and easy hook step. He aims to get the world dancing to "Aavan Jaavan," sharing a video on social media to announce the contest. Fans are invited to create reels, tag @yrf, and use the hashtag #AavanJaavan for a chance to win exciting prizes and potentially meet the superstar himself.

"Aavan Jaavan" showcases the chemistry between Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani as they romance in picturesque Italian locales. Advani's glamorous look, including a golden bikini, has also caught the audience's attention. The song has been praised for its infectious vibe and the effortless energy between the lead actors.

The song reunites the team behind the hit track "Kesariya" from Brahmastra, including composer Pritam, lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya, and singer Arijit Singh. Nikhita Gandhi provides the female vocals. Ayan Mukerji, the director of War 2, has described "Aavan Jaavan" as the soundtrack to their Italian shoot, recalling it as a joyful experience. Bosco Leslie Martis is the director and choreographer.

Roshan has expressed that the song reveals a new side to his character, Kabir, hinting at hope, joy, and love. This suggests War 2 will delve deeper into Kabir's emotional backstory, enabled by a budget increase that allows for expanded character arcs.

War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra, is the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe. The film stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani in leading roles. Anil Kapoor and Ashutosh Rana will also appear in special roles, with Rana reprising his character from the original 2019 film. The movie is slated for release on August 14, 2025, in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.

The film is a sequel to the 2019 hit War and features agents Kabir and Vikram in a bloody battle. War 2 has also achieved the distinction of being the first Indian film to be released at Dolby Cinema in India.

With the release of "Aavan Jaavan" and the global dance campaign, War 2 is generating significant buzz. The film is expected to build on the success of the original, potentially opening to impressive worldwide box office numbers.
